What policies are in place to ensure safety for my children?
Every volunteer is required to fill out a volunteer application. Those volunteers who are expected to have contact with children as part of their responsibilities undergo a criminal background check. Additionally, when individual children need the assistance of an adult, there will be at least two adults with the child at all times.

What do I do in order be baptised?
First, you need to understand that baptism is an outward expression of your relationship with Jesus Christ. You are acknowledging that you have accepted Him as your Savior and you desire to walk in obedience with Him. If you do not know what it means to know Jesus Christ as your Savior, please call the church office and ask to speak with a pastor or speak with a Ministry Team member after any church service. Baptisms are conducted at the first Sunday evening service of each month. If you desire to be baptised, sign up at the
Information Center and ask for a baptism flyer for more details. Everyone being baptised will receive a certificate of baptism immediately after the service. You are welcome to be baptised if you do not sign up at the Information Center, but it may take one to two weeks to provide you with a certificate of baptism.

Why do you not allow children under the age of six in the sanctuary during weekly services?
The weekly services are designed for adults. Adult worship services are not the most approproate place for children to learn since some of the content may be inappropriate (sexual issues, parental issues, etc.) Kids will enjoy the Sunday School environment much more than the adult worship service. Additionally, exhibiting proper worship behavior in the adult services can be very difficult for a young child. Kids may unknowingly distract others who are dealing with eternal decisions. Many of us, as adults, grew up resenting God or
the church because we were constantly rebuked for fidgeting at church. At Rocky Mountain Calvary, we want to do everything we can to make sure that no child has a wrong concept of the Lord simply because they were forced to be somewhere they didn't need to be in the first place.

Since you do not allow children in the sanctuary during weekly services, what options do I have to be with my child during a weekly service?
There is a Nursing Mother's Room in the rear of the sanctuary. Mothers can be a part of the service while having the privacy to nurse their young infant when necessary. The Cafe/Upper Room is also an area where families can sit together and watch the service.
